Privacy Policy — Coloring for Kids

Scope and audience

This policy applies to Coloring for Kids — التلوين للأطفال, Android package drwing.f0r.children, version 2.0.0 (version code 11) with its September 27, 2026 software updates. The developer is Lyl Studio. The app is designed for children aged 3–7 and requires no account or sign-in. For this app and release, this notice takes precedence over conflicting general studio-policy descriptions. Other apps retain their own policies.

Local drawing and learning data

Drawings, coloring pages, the album, progress, stars, owned items, certificates and preferences are stored in the app's private device storage. The app does not upload them to a Lyl Studio server and offers no child accounts, chat or public profiles.

A parent may optionally enter a first name in the Parents corner for certificates. This name is stored locally in a file excluded from backup and can be cleared there. If a parent exports or shares a certificate containing the name, that copy is subject to the parent's choice and the selected sharing provider.

A parent may choose a photo as drawing paper through Android's photo picker. The app accesses the selected image without requesting permission to read the whole photo library and may retain a copy in its drawing storage. It does not upload the photo to our server.

Android backup and device transfer

Where Android backup or transfer is enabled, the operating system may copy drawing pages, drafts, preferences, stars, owned rewards and certificate dates. This may include a chosen background photo stored with a draft. Backup depends on the system provider, account settings and system limits; we do not operate an account-sync service.

The app's backup rules exclude the optional parent-entered name, the album, ad tickets, SDK-managed consent and messaging state. Parents can export important drawings or certificates before changing devices. Restoration is not guaranteed when backup is disabled or incomplete.

Advertising and Google AdMob

The app shows interstitial ads at natural breaks after completed content, and optional rewarded ads started by a parent after a grown-ups gate and a disclosure naming the specific item to unlock. Rewards are in-app items, not money. Declining or dismissing an ad without a reward does not block core drawing or learning. There are no banners or app-open ads.

Google Mobile Ads requests are configured for child-directed treatment (TFCD), G-rated content and non-personalized advertising. AD_ID and Android AdServices permissions are removed. The app does not attach names, images, progress or targeting keywords to ad requests or use a child's behavioral profile for personalization.

Google Mobile Ads may collect and share technical data such as IP-derived approximate location, app/ad interactions, diagnostics, performance information, and permitted app/device identifiers such as App Set ID. Google uses this information for ad delivery, measurement, analytics and fraud prevention. Non-personalized advertising does not eliminate all technical processing. Google's policies and retention practices apply.

Privacy choices

The app uses Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) with the under-age-of-consent signal (TFUA). Google's handling of this signal means the app does not ask a child to consent to personalized advertising. This is separate from the child-directed setting in the advertising SDK. Google privacy options appear in app settings when the service reports they are required. No birth date or account is requested.

Audio

The app includes local recordings and also uses the installed text-to-speech engine, selecting a voice the engine identifies as not requiring a network connection. When a suitable local voice cannot be verified, synthesized speech is skipped instead of choosing a network voice; recordings and the interface remain available. The speech-engine provider handles educational text under its implementation and policies. The app does not use the microphone or record a child's voice.

Notifications and Firebase

News notifications are off by default on a fresh installation. A parent can enable them in settings, with Android notification permission where required. Firebase Cloud Messaging subscribes to a general language-specific news topic. Google services process an installation identifier, messaging token and technical metadata for delivery. The app does not send names, drawings or learning progress to this service, or upload the token to a Lyl Studio account server.

Turning news off disables token auto-initialization and requests topic unsubscription and FCM token deletion; completion may require network access. An installation upgraded from an older version may contact Firebase to clean up a legacy subscription even while news is off. Deleting an FCM token does not automatically delete all past Firebase data or the installation identifier. Google's retention policies apply.

The optional daily drawing reminder is scheduled locally. This release does not integrate Firebase Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics; the advertising and messaging processing described above still applies.

Sharing, links and permissions

Sharing, exporting, photo import and relevant external links are protected by the grown-ups gate. When a parent chooses to share, a temporary copy is made available through Android to the selected app. Drawings and certificates are not automatically sent to Lyl Studio. The selected provider's policy applies to shared copies.

The app uses internet/network access for ads and messaging, notification permission when enabled, and supporting system permissions for scheduled tasks. It does not request camera, microphone, precise location, contacts or broad file access. Opening the privacy webpage may provide the hosting service with an IP address and ordinary web-request metadata.

Retention, deletion and control

Local data remains while stored in the app. Controls are provided to clear progress, the album and the optional name; owned items may remain when gameplay progress is reset. Clearing Android app storage or uninstalling removes local app data, but does not remove exported images, shared copies, system backups or data already processed by external providers. Android may restore eligible backed-up data on reinstall according to its settings.

We do not maintain a child-account database for this app. Contact us about information under our control or to exercise applicable legal rights. If you email support, we process your email address and message to answer your request; please avoid unnecessary child information. We do not sell data. Support-message retention depends on the request's purpose and legal obligations; you may request deletion of information we control.

Google describes encryption in transit for AdMob and Firebase. No storage or transmission method guarantees absolute security. This notice does not promise that uninstalling the app or emailing us deletes data held by another provider.
