This Privacy Policy describes how Lyl Studio (operated under the Google Play developer account "Lyl Studio") collects, uses, and protects information when you use any of our 102+ Android applications (collectively, "the Apps") available on Google Play Store.

Our Apps span multiple categories including: Religious (Quran & Islamic), Kids & Educational, and Utility Tools. This single policy governs all applications published under our developer account.

By downloading, installing, or using any of our Apps, you agree to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App.

2. Developer Identity & Verification

This Privacy Policy URL (https://lyl-studio.com/privacy) is the official privacy policy registered with Google Play Console for all apps under the "Lyl Studio" developer account.

3. Children's Privacy (COPPA & Google Play Families Policy)

Important: We take children's privacy very seriously.

Several of our Apps are designed for children and are enrolled in the Google Play Families Program. For these Apps, we strictly comply with:

  • Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
  • Google Play Families Policy requirements
  • GDPR-K (General Data Protection Regulation for minors, where applicable)

For Children's Apps specifically:

  • We do NOT knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 years of age.
  • We do NOT require user registration, login, or any form of personal data input.
  • Advertising in children's apps (if any) is served exclusively through Google AdMob Family-Certified Ad Networks, which comply with COPPA and Google's Families Ads requirements.
  • We do NOT use behavioral advertising or interest-based ad targeting for children's content.
  • We do NOT share children's data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided personal information through any of our Apps, please contact us immediately at lamar.mohamed312@gmail.com and we will promptly delete such information.

Some of our Apps may request the following device permissions. Each permission is used solely for the core functionality described and never for unauthorized data harvesting:

  • INTERNET:Required for streaming audio content, loading ads, and sending crash reports.
  • READ/WRITE EXTERNAL STORAGE:Used to cache audio files for offline playback (e.g., Quran recitations). Only app-specific directories are accessed.
  • FOREGROUND SERVICE:Enables uninterrupted audio playback (Quran, Nasheed) in the background.
  • WAKE_LOCK:Prevents the screen from sleeping during active audio playback.
  • RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED:Re-schedules reminders (e.g., prayer/Quran reminders) after device restart.
  • VIBRATE / POST_NOTIFICATIONS:Delivers prayer reminders or educational notifications.

You may revoke any permission at any time through your device's Settings → Apps → [App Name] → Permissions.

7. How We Use Collected Information

  • To operate and maintain app functionality (Quran playback, educational games, etc.)
  • To monitor and improve app performance and stability
  • To display advertisements (in compliance with Google's policies and family ad standards)
  • To comply with Google Play Store policies and legal requirements
  • To identify and fix crashes, errors, and bugs

8. Data Sharing & Disclosure

  • We do NOT sell your personal data to any third party.
  • We may share anonymized, aggregated data with our trusted service providers (listed in Section 5) solely for the purposes described in this policy. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for specified purposes.
  • We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.

9. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:

We retain automatically collected log data for a maximum of 90 days for crash analysis and performance monitoring purposes. After this period, data is automatically purged from our analytics systems. Advertising identifiers are managed by Google and can be reset by the user at any time.
